Work description: The work is being carried out as part of the research activities of the CD laboratory for nanoscale phase transformations, which conducts applied research in collaboration with the local steel producer voestalpine Stahl.The aim is to gain a better understanding of steel microstructures and the changes in steel caused by hydrogen diffusion.This includes mechanical (metallographic) preparation of the sample and examination using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD) techniques.
